In partnership with the library, the municipality has put in place a Hot Spot WiFi, which is to say, an access point for Internet enabling the public to connect via a PC or a mobile terminal.
The zone covered consists of the surroundings of the library, of the Salle des Fêtes (Festival Hall), the Place du Mûrier and also one part of the Parc du Petit Bois.
A utility chart and instructions for use will be stuck to the windows of the library premises (11 rue de la Plage) and on those of the Tourist Office (25 rue de la Plage).
This access is free and open to all and enables those who wish to connect freely to the Internet and also to different e-mail accounts.
Instructions for use to connect:
* Search with your laptop, notebook, telephone equipped with WiFi, the ternimal " Batz-sur-Mer-gratuit "
*Click on " Connexion " or " Connecter "
* Launch the Internet browser and load a page.
* The connection page to free Hot Spot de Batz sur Mer
*Click on " Accéder au Web "
*Automatic redirect to the page of " Login Hot Spot "
*Once connceted, surf on the Internet in very way possible
*When the browsing ends, type " Exit "Â in the address bar of the browser, leading to a redirect on the sign out page.
Please Note:
- Complying with current regulations, a connections historic is saved for 1 year and can be given to the judicial authorities.
- A specialzed software detects misuse and all illegal users (illegal downloading, " Peer to Peer ", sensitive sites ..).
Any user not respecting the utility chart will have the MAC address of his computer banned from this network (in this case, the user can never again use the HotSpot of Batz sur Mer).
